Zabarovski V.K., PhD
Graduated from the Minsk State Medical Institute in 1980 on specialty "medical business".
Since 1981 he has been working at the State Institution "Republican Research and Practical Center of Neurology and Neurosurgery" of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Belarus, where the first in the Republic of Belarus began the scientific study and practical application of manual therapy. Currently he works as a leading researcher at the neurological department.
In 1991, he defended PhD thesison the specialty 14.00.13 - nervous diseases on "Differentiated use of manual therapy and laser puncture in the treatment of patients with neurological manifestations of lumbar degenerative disc disease."
He passed training in manual therapy and neurology at the Central Institute of Advanced Medical Studies (Moscow), the Kazan Institute of Advanced Medical, Belarusian Medical Academy of Postgraduate Education, Central Institute of Physiotherapy and Health Resort (Sofia, Bulgaria), at the Medical Faculty of the University of California in the United States (San Diego) and Austria (Vienna) and international courses on a high-speed low-amplitude techniques of manual therapy (Lillehammer, Norway).
In 1995, he graduated from the Faculty of Special Educational Establishment "Minsk State Linguistic University" in "English".
In 1998, at the request of Selçuk University he has prepared in English and held for Turkish doctors, physiotherapists and rehabilitators in Konya (Turkey), the course of thematic improvement "Manual therapy in the treatment of patients with clinical signs of herniation of
lumbar intervertebral disc".He has trained over 30 physicians in the manual therapy field for practical public health of the Republic of Belarus.
Over 35 years he has been studying the issues of diagnosis, treatment and prevention of degenerative diseases of the spine. The results of his scientific research were presented at numerous scientific congresses and conferences, including eight world and European congresses on neurology and manual therapy (France, USA, Norway, Austria, England, Italy, UAE, and Argentina).
He is the author of 130 scientific publications, including 27 international, 12 methodical recommendations and instructions for use, approved by the Ministry of Health of Belarus, 10 patents, 11 rationalization proposals. The practical significance of scientific research confirmed 44 acts to implement.
During his work at the center has been involved in the implementation of 17 research topics, including the 11 - as a scientific advisor. Currently, within the framework of the State program of scientific research, "Medicine and Pharmacy" as a scientific adviser carries out research work "To develop a manual therapy technique in patients with recurrent lumbar dorsalgia".
He is a leading specialist of the republic in the field of research and practical application of manual therapy techniques in vertebral diseases of the peripheral nervous system. He has the highest qualification category in manual therapy and first qualifying category in neurology.
He is a member of the editorial board of the magazine "Manual Therapy" (Russian Federation).
Since 2008, the chief freelance specialist in manual therapy of the Ministry of Health of Belarus.
He was awarded the "Excellence in Health of the Republic of Belarus" and the Diploma of the Ministry of Health of Belarus.
