Neurological department №2 has 30 beds, and is designated for patients with diseases of the central nervous system of vascular and inflammatory origin, and neuromuscular disorders. At the department patients from the Russian Federation, Kazakhstan, Norway, Ukraine, Libya, Turkmenistan were treated.

The Department specializes on the diagnosics and treatment of degenerative and hereditary diseases of the Central nervous system, and admits patients with rare neurological diseases. The range of conditions include:

- multiple sclerosis and other demyelinating diseases of the Central nervous system,
- motor neuron disease
- vascular diseases of the brain and spinal cord
